45mm or 50mm?
I’m looking to reinvest in a x-pole. The studio I go to only has 50mm poles, its all I ever learned on. I currently have a 50mm chrome x-pert but think its time to reconsider other diameters just so I’m more adaptable.
I’m stuck between 45mm and 50mm. Could someone help me weigh out the pros/cons for each?
On a side note: after I make my decision, I’ll have two poles available for sale. A 7’5 (adjustable to 9’5),50mm Stainless Steel Lil Mynx, lightly used/frequently cleaned (comes with all parts, available immediately). And once I buy a new x-pole, my current 50mm Stainless Steel x-pert will go on sale as well.

I learned off a 50mm. I just recently bought a 45mm titanium gold and I love it! i have a more secured grip with the 45mm but tricks with the legs pinch more. 50mm is more comfortable for leg holds. I do not at all regret getting the 45. Hope this helps 🙂

I bought a 50mm for home a few years ago I have always wished since that I had a 45mm, for some reason everything is easier for me to do on a 45 and I also find new tricks and spins easier to master but that’s just me 🙂 hope this helps!

I went from a 50mm to a 45mm about a year into poling. I love it! I feel like my grips(especially for inverted tricks) are more secure. I have never heard of anyone that regretted going from a 50 to a 45.

45!!!!!! It’s the happy medium in size. Not hard to adapt to at all. It’s the standard now.

Funny…I learned on a 45mm, and also have a 45mm at home. I've tried the 50mm a few times and had a difficult time with it. I have very teeny hands. As a matter of fact, I just bought my first 40mm for home.
