Pleaser. I order through my studio so it’s easy compared to other brands.

I wear Ellie shoes ! And I hear it’s important to go with a brand like Ellie or Pleaser, because they are made for dancing. Regular heels won’t give you they correct support when it comes to dancing, and they might not hold up as well as dancer shoes. A lot of studio’s will require you to have an ankle strap on your shoe, so that it doesn’t come flying off on spins or inverts. If you have wide feet, like me, bottom part comes very narrow on both brands! So you might have to apply heat and it’ll stretch after a few sessions! Some people recommend getting a size larger than what you normally wear as they tend to run small, but it’s all about preference. (: also, it may help to check out some adult stores to get an idea and then buy them for a better price online! If you don’t normally wear heels, you can practice without them and when you feel comfortable wear them!

Pleaser and Ellie are probably the most worn just because they are the easiest to find (Funtasm is one of Pleaser’s lines). Tony, Highest Heel and Karo are 3 other lines I have heard of but are difficult to find. Most of my shoes are Pleasers just because they tend to fit me better than Ellie’s do.

Thank you. I did not know that there were different type of shoes. I just thought that any pair of heels would work. Thanks for that valuable information. I plan on practicing without the heels and getting a pair for when I feel lucky on certain days but high heels are def my next step, practicing in high heels. Do you have a picture of shoes that would be a good example DestinyCorrine

I have two pairs of Ellie shoes that I really like. If you are like me and dance on carpet, then put some packing tape on the soles of the shoes. It will help you glide on the carpet and will significantly reduce tripping. There is nothing less sexy than tripping on your carpet while performing. HaHa!

I have one pair of pole shoes, and they’re Ellie brand- I love them, they fit me really well. It’s a bit surprising, as I tend to have “wide feet for a woman,” according to most shoe brands.
I actually broke my shoes the second time I wore them, however. Stupid mistake on my part, and some pretty loose ankles, and ripped the strap right out of the shoe. Had them repaired, however, and they work and look good-as-new! (Funny thing was that they were repaired for free, because the place I went to pretty much only ever gets work boots and stuff. Imagine me, coming in with a hot pair of black stripper shoes! The guy was pleased, I think!)

These are excellent shoes for pole. The ankle strap gives you support, they don’t have any metal parts that might damage the pole, the clear plastic will help with sticking and lasts longer than patent, also it’s much more comfortable since it’ll adapt to your feet when warmed. The black insole is nice as white tends to get dirty sooner or later.

All of the shoes found at BadKitty.com are Pleaser Shoes. The most popular ones are the Adores.

The plastic shoes im afraid I will not fit.. I do have wide feet with no arch.. And also the heel is too small when I walk in thin hills ot feels like it stabs the heel of my foot, does anyone know about thicker heels?

They even have clear plastic shoe’s that light up, pleaser has those too I think!
They come in all sorts of colors though and you aren’t limited by only clear ones, Pleaser has a neon collection!

You can find them with thicker heels. I sometimes prefer the chunkier ones. You can also find the heels in cone shape etc 🙂 Just depends on what you’re looking for.
