There are currently only 2 in the US that make free standing/stage poles and that is Platinum Stages and XPole. In the UK you also have the option of RPole. I heard that Poledanzer was working on a stage pole but I have not seen it out yet.

X-Pole currently produces two portable stages and ‘Standard’ with a podium floor 320mm (12.5â€) and the ‘Lite’ which is only 110mm (4.3â€).
40mm (1.6″), 45mm (1.75″) and 50mm 1.97″) pole tubes sizes and all available as are most surface finishes including Silicone (rubber)coming Spring 2014.
A key feature with X-Pole is that the Pole height from the floor is nearly 10 feet (3m , 9′ 10â€) the longest 2 piece pole currently available as standard – that comes with the stage and is not an extra – .
X-Poe is always improving its products and the X-stage range has been recently been modified to significantly reduce pole movement.
X-Stage is the only stage with additional extendable legs (these are included free!) that are there just offer added stability should it be used for more extreme moves. It is already leads its class for stability without the legs extended, especially given that the pole is 3m (9′ 10â€).
X-Stage also offer optionally purchased weight plates, that fit both stage types, so additional weight can be added under the stage podium.

PS. By the way the reason the pole looks longer on a Light stage than a Standard stage is purely optical – the poles are the same length – it is only because the standard stage floor is higher and so the useable pole is shorter. However, additional extensions 300~500mm (12â€~20â€) extension can be added to make the standard useable pole up to 3.2m (10′ 5â€).
