Hello All! I’m Nadia. I won one of the scholarships from Kiki’s Pole blog, so here I am! I hope to make good pole friends and learn a lot! Let’s see what can be acomplished in one year (and many more, of course!) ha ha ha

Just for fun, I would love to know how was your pole year? Share any progress, feelings, discoveries!

Hello and Welcome!! Well it’s been a good year on the pole for me I have to say I got closer to my splits, I got a new pole move (Allegra) and my climbs and air inverts have come on really well. Plus I joined this site and started the lessons so I have now gained a bit more knowledge about pole. On the negative side I’m no where near getting the pole moves it have on my wish list but I will keep training hard! Just thought I would share this with ya it’s reflecting on 2013 and congrats on winning the scholarship!

Welcome to Studio Veena and congrats on winning the scholarship! Studio Veena lessons are GREAT and the gals who are members here are all so helpful and supportive. I’ve been poling 3 1/2 years. I’ll be honest, my first year poling was rocky, with the first 6 months being especially the hardest for me! And even as a pole “veteran” I still have my off/bad pole days, weeks and months lol. But I LOVE pole so much and it is such an awesome sport that I just can’t stop! Pole is a journey like no other and everyone’s pole journeys are different, so just take your time, listen to your body and enjoy YOUR journey. Happy Poling!

Hi and welcome! Get ready for an amazing journey. This is my first year poling and it has been filled with triumphs and bruises…oh so many bruises! But it has been amazing! I’m looking to compete in the year to come. Wishing you much joy and happiness from your poling experiences πŸ™‚

This was my first year too, I started in May. I’m blown away by how much stronger I’ve gotten and how much I’ve learned!

Welcome! I’ve been pole dancing for five years soon and this past year has not been as active when it comes to the pole as for example 2012. This is because I’ve spent more energy this year on flexibility training so there was less left for the pole. Also last winter was terrible with bad grip and so on. But now in the lastest month or so I’ve been feeling and increasing interest for the pole again!
