Okay, so I have always only ever used a stainless steel Platinum stages spinny/stationary removable pole. I love this pole for basic moves but for any harder moves or inverts my hands get so sweaty I have to get off the pole and wipe my hands in order to do another move. My body has no issues with the pole as long as its nice and warm but my hands sweat like crazy.

I very much so want a new pole but I want to make an educated decision about this. Poles are not cheap! And I don’t have a lot of money to throw away on another pole that wont work.

From what I have read, brass poles are the best for sweaty hands but may cause issues when doing stationary pole spins. I am leaning towards brass since my hands are so so sweaty. I have normal skin its never very dry or very oily and if it is dry I put a little coconut oil on it before bed and the dryness is usually gone by the next day. So im not worries about dry skin.

Please help me! Is brass the pole for me or should I go with chrome or titanium gold?

for me, I slide the same on stainless, chrome and TG. The slide is a little less on brass and PC, sweaty hands-wise.

Thanks AerialGypsy! Im definitely thinking more and more that brass is the right choice for me. The more I read up on old posts the more I think it will work best.
The stainless I have is also 50mm so i think that just makes it even worse!! I am thinking about going for a Brass 45mm pole. Anythoughts?

45 is a good diameter, IMO. Ideally, you’d play on a brass before buying one.

Yes we have no where here for me to try one though. The only other pole I’ve been able to try is a tg and it felt a lot better than stainless steel but I don’t want one as I heard that after a couple months it begins to wear off anyway

the TG wont wear off. There was a bad batch of them that wore off, but that isn’t the case now. Veena’s pole is many years old and it still gold.
