    Hello Ladies & Gents,
I will be having a hip athroscopy on Jan 16th. I will be having three procedures done during this, a labrum repair, reshaping of my femoral head and shaving a cam impingement, and a psoas release. I just finished recovering from a partially detached upper pectoral and I have gained so much weight. I refuse to let another injury keep me off the pole and inactive. Does anyone have any experience with this? I know I should ask my therapist and I will, but I would like to not gain any weight and possibly take some off. I will have two months off of work. I am debating buying an exercise bike, because I can start biking that week, after 6 weeks I am allowed to be in the pool. I am very aware I will need to adjust my diet. I honestly can’t bare to look at myself in the mirror right now. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As you already know diet is going to have to come first. How about you just concentrate on getting your body healthy again instead of worrying about weight gain? You have a man that adores you and I am sure he wants you around for a long time. You have suffered far too many injuries my friend. Heal and then plan an attack.
