  New platinum stages brass pole

  I finally got the pole I’ve been wanting forever…….it’s a 45mm platinum stages multi piece brass pole. It’s my 3rd pole. I put it up today, and I feel like it has so much flex and I’m scared to use it. Is this normal. It’s almost 10ft.

  45 brass are known to be super flexy. The metal is just more pliable. Don’t be super surprised if there is a little bowing after a while. Anything taller than 10ft I would feel more comfortable if it was reinforced with something or was a 50.

  A long as all the seams are not shifting its normal. The multi piece I had received had seams that didn’t align properly, causing the pole to bow and wiggle.

  my newest pole is a 10ft PS 45mm & it has a ton of flex! i have had it since last april. so i would say yes it’s normal. mine is a 1 piece pole. brass has a lot of flex!
