I know similar discussions have been up, but I was thinking about having my xpole powder coated….I love the finish on the studioveena pole. Has anyone actually had this done? My xpole is tg, but not grippy at all to me. I got a new 45 mm brass ps pole, but the xpole is 50mm so I would like it up too.

I had a brass powder coated and it was just as slick…NOTHING like my LM/SV pole. PLUS my pole came back cracked….not sure I would do it if I were you. That was my experience. I spray painted another chrome pole I had and that was the BEST….a good middle between chrome and the powder coated. Plus only cost $5.00.

Here is a recent discussion on powder coating your pole. I had mine coated 2 years ago. The pix are on my page.

I have never powder coated a pole, but I did have my cube powder coated. Its relatively expensive to get done and not sure it will feel better. The only reason I did it to my cube is because it was made from scrap metal and was rusting, which is NOT the case with any X-Pole. TG does have a different feel/stick. Many people need to actually moisturize before getting a stick on those poles. I know this sounds strange, but maybe try shaving cream or that heel2toe exfoliating creme, thats what works for me on those poles.
