Instagram question
Posted by sassylina on February 2, 2014 at 8:57 pmOk, I just joined the rest of the world and joined Instagram. But what photo editing app do people use for it? I see things like making a collage that I can’t do with my regular app.

I like instacollage. I have picstitch too, which some people love, but I don’t! I like picplaypost (or something like that) to combine video and pics. Hope you find one you like 🙂

I use PhotoGrid (free) for picture-only collages and I love it. Export quality is great and there’s a wide variety of layouts and aspect ratios for creating collages for both IG and other social media platforms.

I have a bunch of different photo editing apps, all free (with the exception or two or three that were 99 cents). For collages to put on IG, I use picstitch or instacollagefree. They do the trick for me.
I just recently tried to speed up a video so it would fit on IG… I searched around online and wound up purchasing an app called Vintagio for $1.99 that seems good. It can slow down or speed up videos, put music over it and add different filters. And you can import from you device instead of having to take the video with the app. Seemed to work really well! Then when I went to upload to Instagram, the video looked fine when I chose it and everything, until I got to where you choose a filter. Then it became all distorted and smushed. Not sure what happened and I’m wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has any ideas why it happened? The frame size seemed to be square just like in IG so I didn’t think that was the problem.(Just saw how long that question was – I’m not trying to hijack the thread, I’m just long winded!! Sorry!)
