Hi everyone! Someone local is selling their used Xpole that they special ordered from Australia….and it’s Titanium SILVER. I was looking to get a titanium gold as I HATE my chrome (just doesn’t work well with me). Does anyone own a titanium silver?? Does it grip well? and is it as good as the titanium gold, just different color? Sorry, I got in over my head with the chrome and just want to make sure I do my research this time! Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED!

Also…ne here, this is my first post!! 😀 Love this site!

YAY for your first post! Welcome to the family. 🙂

I’m the same way…totally got in over my head with my chrome pole so I ordered the PC SV pole from Lil Mynx…arrives tomorrow. The thought of a Titanium SILVER pole is very interesting to me since I just can’t STAND that gold color. I know, I know…totally trivial, but what can I say? I’m shallow like that. LOL

Very interested to see what this thread uncovers.

Well it’s looking like I am going to buy it more than likely because I don’t want to miss this opportunity AND I only have the xpole static chrome…so I’m sure a static/spin titanium silver would be better than that! haha. Since everyone (saw other posts) seems to be interested in it (as am I!), I may have to do a little review on it here, maybe a vid….I LOVE titanium gold though, just never used a titanium silver but once I do I’d be able to tell if there was a difference and will let everyone know my HONEST opinion 🙂

I would hop on that deal, if it is a deal. That must have cost them an arm and a leg to ship that up here from Aussie. Wish X-Pole sold that style here. I have the regular titan 45mm.

One thing to consider is that the titanium silver is a matte finish, not mirror finish, which would make it more slidy than the titanium golds, which are mirror finish. Matte finish is something people seem to love or hate. If you run dry skin-wise or don’t sweat very much, then a matte pole might not be good idea for you. If you get sticky skin when you dance, then you might be okay. I personally like the matte feel of the matte brass, but there are many people who hate it. Also, vinyl does not stick to matte finishes.

and this site says that the gold has better grip than the silver: http://www.bootypolefitboutique.com/shop-xpole

This says the finish is matte (pulled from X pole Australia):

Very informative post AerialGypsy…THANK YOU! Having never heard of a matte finish for a dance pole before, I am even more intrigued than I was before. I’m such a sweat factory that the prospect of a sticky surface makes me salivate. lol

Thanks so much AerialGypsy!! I didn’t even think about vinyl not stick to a matte finish…this is a huge problem for me as I own several boots and love the way they support and look, no way I’d give em up! Thanks! 🙂
