I messaged the fit & bendy lady a question on facebook and she replied right away with a very thorough explanation. I can’t imagine the dvd not being of value.

I always ask now because I’ve been disappointed before!

I just did the whole dvd and it was awesome. Her whole body warmup is a bit short but the prep for front and middle split is great prior to stretching and training for the actual front and middle splits. She really focuses on square hips training. She said for a performance you can do a jazz splits but for actually training for your splits, we need to do square hips. She also has a tutorial on how to properly align the body in your splits. She then goes to stretching the shoulder rotators then on to warming up the back to get it ready for backbend training. I really liked her backbend warm ups. It loosened up my stiff back and I was able to go to the deepest backbend ever for me as well as a full bridge pose. You train at your current flexability but she also trains for really bendy flexability. The hour training went so fast. I already have a jazz front right splits but it is still uncomfortable to hold it longer than a 10 seconds but after my hour class with her with squared hips, I was able to go in my jazz front right splits with no discomfort and held it for 2 minutes. Hope this helps.

I just used it for the first time today and I loved it! It was so detailed and all the moves flowed well from one move to the next. I honestly felt limber so afterwards that I thought I could twist myself into a pretzel and be cool lol.

I’ve had this DVD for a long time and only watched it once. I found a lot of the stretches and information to be repetitive for me- as in the stretches weren’t anything new to me outside of a lot of what I already do. I really liked the tone of her voice as I found it to be soothing.

I agree with the above. I like the techniques she uses and think they are sound. It’s not necessarily anything new, but it is a nice, concise routine with the best elements of stretching. I did think the backbend section was a bit short and not enough if you have a flexy back. I did really like the splits section and that it can be done in 1 hr. Also, I think she’s producing another video to come out in Mar/April, just fyi. Hope that helps!

I did not like Cleo’s dvd. That’s why I was looking for something different that focuses on flexibility.

How are the cues? I have the felix cane dvd and don’t care for the cues. There are a few times that you are looking away from the screen and she doesn’t audibly alert to a position change.

Im actually seriously considering buying this dvd as well. She is in the process of filming an advanced dvd as we speak. She hasnt said when she anticipates to release it though
