  • Most Impressive Aerial Shows in Vegas?

Posted by scorpiotrickster on March 2, 2014 at 4:30 pm

I did a search for this and nothing really came up, so I’m hoping I’m not being too repetitive! My husband and I will be in Vegas for 4 days in 2 weeks, and want to go see a show or two while we are there. I’ve never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, but really want to. I’ve heard Ka is amazing, but H has already seen it. There are so many different shows- which ones are the most impressive in terms of acrobatics and aerial tricks (maybe even some pole)? Any other non-cirque shows that are a must-see?

Also, which Vegas strip clubs have the best pole dancers?

    Thanks! 🙂

I heard the Beatles “love” show has a lot of aerial, but have not see that one. Zumanity, is sexy and has one pole act (sometimes) along with other areal work, I love this show. I’ve seen O and it was also amazing. Non cirque shows I love, are La reve, this is a beautiful show, water and aerial along with some dance and hand balancing there was a Chinese pole act too, acts change all the time though so non of this is a sure thing. I have never been to a bad show here. You may want to check and see what’s going on in the burlesque world here too. Also Penn and Teller is a great show. I also want to see Absinthe sometime I think it would be another good one, because it’s acro-cabaret! Shows here are adding poles into acts here and there so you never know where you might see them.

There are a lot of strip clubs and I’ve only been to one here, it was not impressive as far as pole work. I’ve been told the Hustler club has some good pole work, but this was not from a pole dancer.

I was in LV last week and saw both o and zumanity. Both shows were great in different ways. Zumanity has a male pole act that was great and an aerial act with a male midget ( I am sorry if that is not the correct term) that was sensational. O was a lot of trapeze and some other acts – no pole. Zumanity was running a great deal of buy one get one for ten bucks.

If you only see one show, see Absinthe. It is so much fun with very dirty humor and legit circus acts as well.
I think it’s fair to say Mystere at TI has the highest volume of acrobatics. There’s also Chinese pole in it.
The Michael Jackson Cirque show at Mandalay Bay also featured Jenyne Butterfly before she had her baby so I *believe* the pole act is still in the show, but with a different performer.
My favorite Cirque show in town is Zarkana. It’s really over the top & opera like and I love the cyr wheels.
    Enjoy your stay 😉

Pinkpony!! Yeah, Zarkana was amazing!!! Not much for aerial, but wow. My favorite part was the juggling woman at the beginning and the balancing act with the ladders, so crazy!

Interesting about absinthe. I really couldn’t tell from the promos what is about. The clip I saw had a dare for one woman to kiss another woman on the boob. I didn’t ” get it”. There are so many shows – it was hard to determine which shows were worth the money. Maybe on the next trip I will put absinthe on the list to see.

Seeing the Michael Jackson cirque show in Baltimore in a couple of weeks. Hope the touring show includes a pole act!

Cirque has a couple of shows in Vegas that has more “wow” value (Ka, Beatles, MJ) from what I hear but my favorite is Zumanity. They have a pole act that used to be performed by Felix Cane but it looks like she’s doing the MJ tour now.

Strip clubs Deja vu always usually has several good pole dancers in the mix at any De ja vu chain you visit across the nation. Sapphire is a huge & gorgeous club that also has a male revue on fri & sat in a separate room off of the main club. If you are a female, you can float back & forth between the room that has the male revue is in & the room that the female strippers are in. Sapphire is my favorite club in Vegas to hang out…it’s got a great atmosphere and I always have a good time there.
