I realize in these moves I tip myself towards the bottom leg. This is the opposite of Veena’s Tutorial. It’s just what feels more natural and stable to me. I am going to give it a go the other way next time… but is the way I’ve been doing it “wrong” or does everyone do it differently ?!? I’ve seen it both ways online, but I do not want to develop bad habits….

That being said… I’m still pretty happy with my progressing strength.

Nope, it’s not wrong, it’s tipping either way that helps lock you into place. 😊

Thank you so much Veena…. and what a relief. I’d hate to think my inner thighs are burning from a day spent doing things backwards!

I’m a bit of a lower leg leaner too! I’ve really tried to go the other way but just end up sliding slowly downwards.
For me, I only feel locked in place with the top leg pressing in towards the pole. I’m so relieved it’s not the wrong way.

Either way is fine. I tip to lower leg as well, and I think I learned that trick from an old veena lesson that has since been updated! 🙂
