Hello fellow polers 🙂 Hope you’re all well!
While I wait for x-Pole to send my new B-Pole, I Thought I’d look for some hints/tips about dancing. Although I couldn’t use my pole, I decided to switch on some slow/sensual music and let my “sexiness” come out just to get some movement and floor work into practise. And one thing I noticed, I have rubbish rhythm! I found it quite difficult to dance without stopping and thinking “that didn’t look right…”
So my question is for those with and without a background in dance, how do you know the way your body is “moving” on/off the pole feels right? And did you find that the more you practised pole the better your rhythm and movement became? Just looking for some advice to improve 🙂
    Thank you my lovelies!

I have no dance background and definitely practise makes perfect! I like to videotape myself instead of using a mirror. It helps me get in touch with how the move should feel when I’m in the right position.

The advice is the same from me, video. It will help you like nothing else. You will spot the things that needs to be corrected, but also find things that looks good and interesting that you never would have though they did if you hadn’t seen it!
