Hi Veeners 🙂 I started some of the flexibility lessons yesterday (so helpful – thanks Veena!) and found that I can’t lift into a bridge. I can do a half bridge, but when I try for a full bridge I push and push with my arms but can’t lift myself at all, not even a few millimetres. I guess this is a strength issue in my arms, and wondered if anyone had tips on exactly which muscles I should work on strengthening before trying again. Thanks for any advice!

I’m so happy your enjoying the lessons! Don’t worry about lifting up yet, that is the advanced variation and it takes time to build the strength and flexiblity for that. You’ll find “related” lessons below the main player that you can use to help you work up to the full bridge.

The lessons really are fantastic 🙂 This site is such a great resource. Just to check I’ve understood you, I have ‘previous lesson’ and ‘next lesson’ under the bridge video – do you mean do the earlier exercises for now (i.e. the ones that appear before the bridge in the video list), and every so often test whether I’m strong enough for a bridge yet?

Hmmm looked like I haven’t added any related lessons for that one. I’ll add some when I get back. I may not have added any to the stretches yet, but I can! However, yes, working on the stretches shown previously will help, because they are for the most part placed in progressive order.

The related lessons should be added to the Bridge now. 🙂
