Getting a pole!
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, but I figured nobody would hurt me if I got it wrong https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
So I spoke to my real estate lady today… She hates me, so I didn’t tell her I was thinking about getting a pole. But I did ask her if it would be safe to install a piece of exercise equipment in my garage (I’ve been worrying about the ceiling). I explained how it works… I think… And she said it would be ok! She said it would only be a problem if it were pulling down on the ceiling, not pushing up. So I’ve been like this all morning > https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
I have 2 questions though. First, is the 50mm Chrome the one I should be getting? That’s the standard one yeah?
And what do people do for a dancing surface… I’m so used to wooden floors the thought of putting it on concrete is icky. Does anybody else have their poles in their garage? Would putting lino down work, or should I try and get some kind of wooden surface to put under the pole. And would that even work? What about like a table top, kind of like a stage? I’d love to know what everybody else does – do you just put up with the ickiness?
Thanks guys!
