  • Affirmations for us pole dancers.

I, along with many of you, know the importance of the mind-body-spirit connection and that our emotions and awareness, or lack of, affect our physical selves, especially when it comes to expressing ourselves physically, as in dance, and specific to us, pole dancing.

I searched for any affirmations for pole dancers, specifically, and could only find an affirmation calendar my Pole World News (pretty, by the way!) but nothing else. IF there is another resource someone has found, please share it with me.

I am hard on myself, especially when it comes to working out or looking at myself in the mirror sometimes and especially in regards to my pole dancing. So I started saying little things to myself, silly at times, but I would say: “Right now I am a sensual, strong goddess” and then go into whatever my pole dance is at the moment.

So I decided to share some of my little affirmations, especially the emotional ones like when I feel anger or tightness in my chest or when I feel loss or depression. I listed them in an eBook format that I want to share with everyone. I hope maybe we can start a thread and share all of our positive self-talk.

The link to download a FREE copy is here on my site: Important note: I received permission from Veena before sharing this here on her site 🙂

I hope you find it helpful and if you don’t think the highest of it, that’s ok too, they are just thoughts from my heart.

I dovwnloaded your Affirmation as I strongly believe in positive thinking. I have read the best seller book creative visualizations and have received positive outcomes from it. The book solidifies that positive affirmation works. So thank you so much for your great Affirmation for pole dancers. I will definitely be using it.

Visualizations are an extremely powerful too, I know that they have been tested with Olympic athletes before and the outcomes were incredible because of that nuero-muscular pathway that gets lit up during them visualizing going through their sport performance.

That’s nice. I would always tell girls in my studio to make them smile. “When life looks ugly, POINT YOUR TOES”! Ha, ha, the owner Maridza was always yelling point your toes, it makes everything so much prettier. lol
As a matter of fact she had a daughter in December and while she was in the hospital, I said, “You;ll do great Maridza. Relax, breath and POINT YOUR TOES! she got a good laugh over that.
