Hi. I recently saw a move on a spinning pole and she went from reverse ayesha to butterfly. I recently tried it out on a static pole and it’s so difficult! The hand position is wrong, bla bla bla. I can’t find the video anymore, so I’m hoping someone can help me figure out this transition. It’s so weird! Thanks!!

I’ve seen the reverse aysha to a twisted grip aysha. Could it have been a twisted grip butterfly?

thats so funny I am working on this transition myself. I can do it but its not all that pretty. You need to place your bottom hand low and then pull your head through and sorta twist and I actually push my top hand into the pole for the butterfly

It’s all in the lower arm for me – I have to keep a slight bend in that bottom arm to allow a bit of a ‘press’ to push out away from the pole to get into the butterfly.

I agree with Ava the lower hand is important. I normally try to straighten the lower arm but I will try to bend it to see if I can clean the combo up.

I haven’t tried it again, but I had to go to a right sided invert to scorpio, reverse ayesha, and then hook right leg back, and then try to push my body back from the front of the pole. I found that my top hand was twisted and so I couldn’t get to the other side properly, much less extend!

I just posted a video with this combo if you are still working on it
