X pole problems
Posted by alleybee73 on June 6, 2014 at 6:40 pmI’m not sure when the new xpoles were supposed to ship but I ordered a new 45mm titanium gold xpert 3 months ago through a verified xpole dealer and can’t seem to get ahold of xpoleus or modern man caves now.
I’m getting frustrated so I was wondering if anyone knows when they were supposed to ship because I thought it was this week and have heard nothing. I know the dates kept getting pushed back…PolarGirl replied 10 years, 5 months ago 4 Members · 9 Replies -

Hey fellow Alaskan!
Sorry about your delayed delivery! I ordered my chrome 45mm xpert pole directly through xpole in April, paid for FedEx expedited shipping (it was just a few dollars difference since the S&H pricing to Ak was crazy to begin with), waited through their back order period and received mine in less than 3 weeks.I would keep trying to contact the company/ distributor. Did you opt for ground shipping? Do you have a tracking number for your package? Good luck!

Mine hasn’t even shipped yet :/
But thank you for your insight.
I think because the titanium gold 45mm was so back ordered! I just feel like I should’ve heard something by now… -
Hi Alley,
The new X-Poles have been shipping out since April, however we were out of stock of the TG for a bit and they have now come back in stock since June 2nd. All back orders and Pre-orders have been shipped out last week. We will look into your order with Modern Mancaves and verify that it has been processed. Please call us during office hours (We were attending Ink and Iron PCS event on Friday) and were short staffed, however you can also always email us at info@xpoleus.com for a fast response. Please always check with us first as you are unlikely to get an answer from anyone on this forum regarding shipment of your order 🙂
Please email me your info so we can look into your order and contact you directly.
info@xpoleus.com.Thank you!

Hi, Alley!
I’m so so sorry to hear that you ordered from them. I really hope your experience with them is better than mine! I had also ordered a pole from Modern Man Caves, because their site showed that they had the pole I wanted in stock, even though Xpole was out. I waited a week and never received a shipping confirmation, and when I went to their site, my orde status was totally blank. I had to email them to even find out that the pole was not actually in stock. I had no reason to believe that they had any intention of contacting me to let me know that. They didn’t even know that Xpole was out until June (this was early April). I don’t know how they are running a business unless it’s a total scam operation…
They promised to refund my money but when it didn’t show up in my account days after the 7 business days they told me to wait, I emailed them again. The person I’d been emailing with told me he would contact “accounts payable” and find out what the problem was. Then they completely stopped responding to any email inquiries.
It’s a good thing I placed this order using PayPal. Otherwise I probably would have never seen my money again. I disputed the transaction and sent them several messages on PayPal in an attempt to sort it out, but they still they never answered. PayPal gives the merchant two weeks to respond to THEM once you escalate the dispute to a claim, and Modern Man Caves never responded to PayPal either. With PayPal, if the merchant cannot respond with proof of delivery showing that they sent you the product, you win the dispute. I got my money back, but only because of PayPal. In the meantime, I had purchased another pole from a dealer that was actually reputable (Microfiber Products, and their customer service was wonderful), and had it for weeks before I got my money refunded for the first one.
If you bought it using PayPal, you may have waited too long to file a dispute, but I would look into it. I definitely recommend that you use them for all major online purchases from here on out. This is the second time they have gotten my money back from a bad merchant who never delivered.
Good luck! Please let us know how things turn out for you… I hope you get a home pole soon!!!
