How can I exit the Side Superman?
Posted by VanillaryPuff on June 17, 2014 at 6:35 amI love the Side Saddle Superman (or “ButtMan” ^^), but I don’t know how I can exit it in a nice and pretty way – other than sliding down or stepping down on the floor.
Here’s a picture (not of me), so you know what I am talking about http://polefiend.tumblr.com/image/66916952673Hazi411 replied 10 years, 5 months ago 4 Members · 9 Replies -

Love that move! You can always just rehook that top knee so you’re back in genie… then there’s lots of stuff you can do from there to make it a combo.

I am at a point where even rehooking that leg hasn’t come to my mind. Wow. Too much thinking doesn’t do any good, it seems! Lol
It would be so lovely if you could tell me more about those combos. I am absolutely lacking ANY ideas,as you can see. Sorry ^^ I am a brainless trick-zombie.Combos… nope, can’t think of any. I really appreciate any imout and help 🙂 xoxo -
Haha it happens! So after you rehook your top knee, you should be in genie (you can bring your free hand back to the pole between your knees if you need extra support). From there you can easily go into a cupid or princess if you reposition that bottom leg. Or for something more daring you could drop into a Gemini…again you’d have to swing the bottom leg around to the other side of the pole and make sure you turn your stomach up towards the ceiling. As you move the bottom leg, aim to reposition the pole onto the side of your stomach. I’d recommend bringing a hand onto the pole the first few times if you’re going to go into Gemini. It would be similar to the Holly Drop but starting in a genie instead 🙂 Hope that helps! If you try, let me know how it goes!

Thank you SO MUCH! I am definitely going to try that. Don’t know when though, I’m having a tough month with a lot of work 😉

I posted a thread on this a long time ago, and i remember someone suggesting to take your top leg, wrap it around your bottom ankle into a remi sit. It’s pretty fun 🙂

Rylonn, can you find this thread? I did not. I honestly can’t imagine how this would work, but that only means I’ll have to give it a try 😉

Oh it was my bad, it wasnt my thread, here it is but its not much more helpful

but basically, you just take the top leg, thread it between your arm and the pole while turning your chest towards the ceiling. and now that you have a leg on either side of the pole, you can cross them in to a remi sit.and on my thread someone suggested going into an ayesha which was beyond my skill but still really cool

Or maybe just exit by reversing what you did together into it? (How did you get into it, BTW?!)
