  • Lil’ Mynx loose issue

Just got a new Lil’ Mynx 50mm. The good news is that it took five minutes to put up. The issue I have is it is a little loose between the main and adjuster poles. So that makes the entire pole shake. Seems very stable otherwise but real annoying and does not give a full sense of security. The adjuster is out about 3″ and based on the inches I told them, there should be 11″ more of travel.
Anyone else experience this? Any fixes? (Its the weekend and only get their voice mail)

“Loose” meaning what, exactly? My experience having had two Lil’ Mynxes now is that it’s fairly normal to have the outer pole (that you dance with) to be a little bit larger than the adjuster pole (the inner one), and that occasionally if you grab or move it in certain ways, they may clang or clack together.
No real fixes for this… it’s just how they’re made. I’ve never ever had any issues with stability or safety with them.

This feels like there is definite play between the two tubes no matter where or how you grab the pole with little effort. One finger can make it vibrate. Not an occasional anything. It seems like the threads don’t match well at all. That is why I don’t feel perfectly comfortable with it.
The mount on the top and the adjuster attached to it are solid as is the bottom.

Hmm, yeah, maybe contact them when you can, it sounds like it may be looser than mine have been!

    Spoke with Randy today.
Had to take it apart. Did get to learn how it works! Evidently the bushings inside the main pipe are too close together. The inner bushing should be inserted another several inches in. They will send me a tool and another bushing. Sounds pretty easy to fix when it gets hear.
Only took less than five minutes to take apart and find the issue. Seemed like very nice people and quick to get assistance.

In case any wanted to know:
I received the part this week for my Lil Mynx (same as Studio Veena pole except 50mm) pole. I did call to ask about installing the part and Randy answered the phone immediately. Although I felt a little stupid asking when it was common sense, He was very respectful.

Hmmm. Answers the phone right away. can get support/answers immediately. Send out parts right away. Obviously fully backs their products. Why can’t I get the same with my TV manufacturer?
