Hi everyone! I have a platinum stages v3.0 and the poles are completely stuck together (I know this is a super common problem with these). I’m getting to the point where I’m frustrated with it because I love taking my pole places and can’t with them suck together like this. Does anyone have the new quick connect poles by platinum stages? Do you recommend them? Are they easy to get apart? I don’t want to waste my money on a replacement if it’s just going to be crap like I have right now. Thanks everyone!

I have the EZ connect v3.0 too…. And while I can’t comment on the quick connect… I can sympathize! My pole is completely stuck together. I know PS does convert the pole connections for a fee, but I think it’s cheaper than a whole new pole… But I suppose to ship it you’d need to get the pole apart.

I’ve never been able to get mind apart. Not even once. I called PS and they gave me tips, but I didn’t have any luck. It was after a long session of poling so my arms were jello. I haven’t tried since. But once I do get them apart I’m going to oil the heck out of them before I put them together again!

I have tried everything but using penetrating oil. I may pick some up today and try that. They actually do sell replacement poles for the stage for $150 plus shipping, which it may even out because you have to pay for shipping both ways and the fee to send the pole back. I just don’t want to waste that money if the new poles are crap too lol. Hopefully someone on here has the 4.0!

I wouldn’t spend any more money with PLATINUM STAGES if they are selling faulty products & not willing to fix the issue.

They did the same thing to me with mine but thankfully the taller extension is stuck on. They actually told me to hit it with a mallet and a bunch of other crap over the telephone that would possibly destroy my pole but refused to email me those instructions bc they didn’t want to be liable. They yelled at me & wouldn’t let me even speak. The poke set up is amazing takes very little time as Ive owned both stages but I would never give them another dollar bc they are liars & selling products they know are faulty & not willing to replace or fix the problem.
