Need a new direction…
So for the last 4 years or so I have been an avid gym goer and practiced clean eating with portion control. But this past year has become more and more if a struggle for me. I’m sure it has to do with starting a new job going from parttime to full time as well as I don’t have a whole lot of support at home. On the contrary, I get some grief for “being at the gym all the time”. Two months ago I finally had my tummy tuck surgery (with bonus breasts!) that I have wanted for over 21 years! But because of this surgery I have not been allowed or able to exercise. I am one of those people that clean eating and gym/exercise go hand in hand. Without one the other seems to fail. I will be getting fully released by my Dt to exercise and pole again real soon. I feel I am bored with my past gym stuff and want a new direction! I want to focus on becoming a better pole dancer. I want to work on my flexibility as well as strength! Why am I writing all if this you may ask? I need some guidance. For those who work fulltime and have a family: What do you do for “training”? How much time do you spend? What would you recommend be my starting point? It seems I either have time for the gym or time for the pole. Never both in The same day. I was thinking hot yoga to shed some of this body fat that I have gained during my two month break due to surgery and can focus on flexibility at the same time.
I seem the SV 30 day starter and I’ll be honest, it’s taken me 60+ Days to do 5 of the days. I’m better disciplined right now being in the environment of the gym/studio. I am open to suggestions. Thanx in advance!’
