I’m very much a newbie and my boyfriend just got me a pole for our bedroom (an X-Pole of some kind). I don’t even have any friends who pole. I came across this site on Facebook hoping to find some help.

I’m liking the trial so far, is it worth spending the money to keep the lessons?

Yes! Even if you decide to learn at a studio Veena’s lessons will come in handy. And in all honesty, I have bought a few pole related DVDs recently and scoured the internet for all sorts of pole, strengthening, and stretching exercises and none have really shown me anything not already available to me on this site. Believe me, this is an excellent place to start in the world of pole, and the quality of instruction for the money spent is insane! Plus the community here is so supportive and active, any questions will be answered quickly and with respect. I’m a fan. 🙂

    Oh Yeah!
I take lessons from all different sources. Veena’s are the most organized and thorough and will get you all the way from beginner to advanced safely.

Resounding yes. On top of that there is feedback available here if you post a video or just ask on that specific lesson.

Honestly, its only worth it if you want to learn pole safely, with a lot of detail of each move/lesson, with a layout to progress from strength conditioning to basics to advanced, a supportive community that can provide input on what you are working on directly and because of the details in the lessons making it easy to put moves together for a routine besides the routine lessons. Otherwise am not so sure 🙂

But the yearly membership is less than a couple of dvd’s and breaks down to less than $10/month which is much cheaper than a single class. I own several DVD’s and while there are some great moves they often are too quick, not broken down enough (I’m a little slow) and still need/want to refer to Veena’s lesson.
    Hope that helps.

I love having the lessons. I’m really impressed with their structure and quality. Several times, I’ve been able to get a move only after looking at Veena’s tutorial, despite taking classes too! I really recommend them 🙂

You will never get more quality value for your money! Veena is extremely detailed in her instructions and they range from beginner to advanced with strength training and stretching to warm ups- it’s like she is there with you. Add in the feedback and encouragement from other Veeners…you can’t afford not to if you really want to learn.

I take lessons at a great studio, have been to several workshops & have quite a few excellent pole dvds but I still need Veena 🙂

Sometimes I struggle to remember a move or get into it properly. Veena has so much info in her lessons that I regularly look at them to check that my technique is correct & safe! And she generally has multiple ways of entering or learning each move, as well as strengthening exercises to work on, so that you know you are physically capable of performing it safely before putting your neck on the line

In combination with all the feedback & discussion on this site I find StudioVeena is brilliant and would highly recommend the lessons to anyone who wants to learn Pole Dancing in a safe and sustainable way. And the bonus is….you look a whole lot sexier when you perform the moves confidently and with correct technique 🙂

I’ve only recently signed up, but I already feel that it’s so worth it.

Even from just when I came across Veena on YouTube, before I found her site here, I could see how much she focuses on safe and correct technique.

I love that. She’s not _just_ about tricks. She makes sure everyone can learn safely and carefully to achieve greatness! 🙂

And, as a bonus, she seems like a really nice person! 😀

    Absolutely worth it!

You will know that everything you learn here is taught safely & in the correct order. Each lesson is broken down into stages, so it’s easier to learn a move a bit at a time, which is also a great way of building confidence. If you get stuck on anything all you need to do is ask, Veena herself or any one of the wonderful members here are full of help & encouragement. I can’t think of a better poling environment in the world! That’s why I’ve been a member for so long!;-)
