Superman on spinning pole
Posted by Phoenix Hunter on September 3, 2014 at 11:24 amAny tricks or advice for doing superman on spinning pole? or do I just need to practice practice practice? -which I’m guessing that is probably the answer. Or just let me know if struggled with this too and can now master it. 🙂

Just a regular superman,but on a spinning pole. 🙂

haven’t even attempted the superman spin yet! guess that will be next. haha!

The superman on spin is really no different. I think it’s easiest from a shoulder mount to outside leg hook and rotate around, or from apprentice and feeding the leg through. As on static, try to push the pole as close to your crotch as possible to reduce the thigh rub pain.
The superman spin isn’t hard at all. I believe Veena has a lesson on that one.

You can get into superman from pike hip hold, I wonder if that’s easier on spin? If you go gemini – tuck- pike, the tuck will speed spin up then the pike slow it down and the superman will slow it further…
Or from gemini and place top hand over gemini leg and flip your hips but I think that stops the spin usually. -
Here is someone doing pike to superman

I haven’t tried it; my shoulders and forearms are bit dodgy this week -
I will have to try it from a pike. haven’t done that yet. I can superman on static, no problem. I was just surprised when I tried it on spin and couldn’t get it. maybe pike will be easier.

Keep practicing! I’ve done it from multiple entries and once you get it, you’ll be good. Another entry to try is from a side spiral 🙂

what does a side spiral look like? do you know of any videos that show getting into a superman from a side spiral on spinning pole?

Hi Phoenix, have you tried getting into a superman from an angel? It will spin and that’s easy to get into. LMK if you want me to post a vid of it.

We call it a side spiral, but I found it here and they call it a bullet spin.
