I’ve asked the same question before and I was advised to look up Xpole, Lil’ Minx, Platinum Stages and Aurelian Sports. Affordability was a huge factor for me also, especially considering the outrageous shipping costs in Alaska, but one must also consider quality/safety of this piece of equipment and reputability of the site you are purchasing from relating to price (beware of knock-offs). My instructor has told me that the cheapest poles have become very expensive for some that end up on youtube fails or getting injured somehow, unfortunately. I saved up and chose an Xpole Xpert 45mm chrome and besides the financial squeeze, it was the best all-around for my use at home.
    Hope this helps πŸ™‚

I would go with xpole, I’m not familiar with any other brands over there. 😊

Hello I have an xpole xpert chrome and it’s great! The cost was £200.00 worth every penny… Really easy to put together and can be moved around yo different rooms!! Hope this helps. πŸ™‚

X pole x pert is my recommendation: how tall are your ceilings?

I bought an x-pole expert 45mm from X-pole UK and I’m very happy with it. They delivered within the UK and then I took it on the plane as they don’t deliver to my location (and shipping is generally a nightmare). I like the chrome finish – haven’t been on the pole for some time and so went back to the basics. This finish has the right combination of challenge and “stickability” for me.

Thanks guys x pole it is I think, I’m to to sure how tall the ceilings are but asked the hubby and he said it should fit, I’m just not sure whether to go for static or the spinning one. Any recommendations on that? I’m only tiny and spin like mad when on the pole.

The xpole xpert is spinny and static!! The best of both worlds! The xpole sport is static only.

If your ceilings are under 9 feet you do not need extra extensions but if they are higher you will so worth checking before you buy. Yes, best to get pole with static and spin modes – xpert xpole is easy to switch modes.
