  • Loose panel on X-stage lite

    Hi everyone,
I finally got a new pole, an X-stage lite and I love it.
But.. One of the panels seems to be a bit loose, it makes more noise than the others.
Is this dangerous? And if so, is it easy to fix?
Hope you guys can help me out!

Are the pins in place? I had issues with a few pins that did not line up and several that were stuck open. I have taught on them with no issue. Worst case you can run Velcro to keep stuff from moving around. Put a strip on the spine and strips on the edges of the pie pieces.

Please contact X-Pole USA and discuss.

Whilst the stage can be used it is not correct and the pole will move more. Often this happens ‘from new’ due to the small square felt pads on the top of the frame being too thick, they compress after use. They are there to stop the plates from rattling.

Being too thick it lifts the panel which lifts the locking out of alignment.

Get someone to stand on the panel (when it is on the stage) over the pin mechanism to compress the felt pad and see if the pin engages. If it doesn’t stamp down on the panel with your foot/feet over the pin, that normally does it.

If neither of these work, 99% of the time they will, contact the office or X-Pole Tech who will explain another method ti change the hole alignment.

Also move the panels positions around sometimes this allows the pin to engage.
