Switching Studios and Certification Questions
Hey guys!
I’m currently finishing a 4 week Level 2 course tonight at the only studio in my city. I’ve quickly fallen head over heels for pole and have been going to classes once a week for 2 months now. I don’t have a pole at home and only being able to practice once a week is driving me crazy! My studio has open pole a few days a week but they charge per class on top of the levels package I pay for which is fine. We are just starting to learn pole climbs and we start dancing in heels tonight.
I’ve stumbled upon another studio that is about 15 minutes outside of the city. I spoke with the owner and I would be able to enroll in the level 4 classes that start next week and she would catch me up on anything I don’t know. The levels classes are the same price at both studios but at the new one I would have access to unlimited classes at the studio, including, pole conditioning, pole flow, pole flexibility, spinny pole, as well as several other dance classes for an extra $75/month.
I’m torn because my current class needs 4 people to continue to the next level and I’m number 4. But I’ve become very addicted to pole and want to advance and eventually take the X Pole certification training! (the new studio is hosting the training at the end of Jan)
So all of that to ask
1- do you think my current class is moving at a good rate?2-is the new studio a better deal and would you skip a level?
3- or should I just not go to classes, save the money and buy a pole and follow Veenas lessons here?
And finally,
4-is it way to soon for me to be considering becoming an instructor? And is The end of January to soon to take the course? (I’m already a women’s personal trainer and pole has given me so much confidence in my own skin it’s amazing and I want to share that with others!)
I’m so sorry that was long! Didn’t know who else to ask since no one I know understands pole.
