My mother is dying. :(
As you all know my father passed a few years ago. You were all so helpful when I went through that. She bought a condo across the hall from me a year ago and has been living very independat with a little help form me. But she is still driving, cooking, cleaning etc. Well, the doctor told me Tuesday she is in her final weeks of life. Her liver has shut down due to IV antibiotics she was on for an infection. I had to break the news to her last night and it was difficult! I was waiting for her in her condo when she come in with shopping bags! I had to sit down and have a talk with her and tell her what the doctor said and that we have to get her on Hospice. Regardless, I am in shock. I am trying to stay positive, because I don’t want this to cause my Lyme disease to come back. I have not been eating, constantly crying and I am sad because I was just getting back to pole, was hoping for my Christma Tree splits and now all of that just doesn’t matter. I just am a mess right now. Thanks and hugs to all the Veeners.

I’m so very sorry. Please try to take care of yourself as best as you can and enjoy every minute you can with your mom. My heart breaks for you.

Wow, I couldn’t imagine how hard that must have been. I am so sorry that this has happened, and that there is little to do now than wait… I think that makes things harder, sometimes.
I hope that you keep taking care of yourself during this time. I know you probably don’t feel like it, but it may help you in more ways than just feeling hungry, or unclean (I tend not to shower or eat when I’m really unhappy).
We’re here for you! And, I hope her passing is simple, quick, and painless. -
OH MY DEAR SWEET LORD! I am so sorry that you are experiencing this. I send you so much love and light right now. I can not imagine having to do that. Well let your mother know that there are people out in the world that have never met her, but send her peace and love. God Bless you BOTH.

Hi Lyme, I am so sad to hear that you are going through this, as much as we understand that our parents will go at sometime, nothing prepares for the onslaught of grief and loss, I have only just come out of a very black hole I was in for 8 months, which came on after losing mum so suddenly then dad. i am thinking of you and do wish I could be there in person to give you a hug.xxxx

Very sorry to hear about your mom. I don’t know you but it breaks my heart to hear this. I’ve been in that black hole before. Hold in there and take care of yourself. It can be impossible at times to eat but you have to. All the best!

Thanks everyone. I’m sitting here feeling so sad. Board and looking over old videos. I MISS my long hair, I MISS my old pole space, I MISS my old strength. I’m sorry, I am just having a hard time. Don’t mind my blubbering here and don’t feel u need to respond. Just feeling super sick and icky inside. 🙁
