There are a few on Youtube, but the lessons aren’t exactly “in depth,” nor are most of them for beginners. Some pole moves that look very easy (especially when done by professional pole dancers) can seriously injure you if done wrong, without the correct positioning of, say, a shoulder or a foot. In many ways, conditioning is very key for pole dancing. You can condition by doing certain pole moves in order to prepare for others, which is certainly a great option, but you MUST know which muscles to engage during the move in order to get the most out of the move.

The very best I can recommend are Veena’s lessons, here on this site. They’ve helped me out a lot, and are about $100 per year… though, there are always sale times where you can get them for less!

Ok, so I am going to get a little bitchy here…..do you expect free pole classes? Would you expect free yoga or dance or gymnastics or ANY sport? The people who teach have spent thousands of hours and dollars on gaining their knowledge and you want it to be given for free? Sorry, but this is something that just really gets me on my soap box.

If you want Veena is gracious enough to give 3 free days to the lessons on this site.

You can find lots of free lesson on youtube and Studio Veena taught me a lot online. But a pole fitness class in a studio will not be free; you can offer to make an exchange service with the owner. This is what I offer in my Studio. Good luck!

I have a whole section of free videos for pole dancers on Youtube…however PLEASE be cautious when learning only by youtube, because nothing is in order and many times when someone claims a move is easy or beginner its not. You can really learn terrible habits and form that is hard to break if you don’t have direction. The best way to learn to pole dance is to build up strength so you can progress without injury. The lessons here are all in order and you can contact me on any lesson with questions and I’ll help you out.

Here is my list of free videos on YT, I believe there are about 40! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyXWQXP3dueofybLatPPuLCbvfSPF2oSF
