I’m moving to Michigan in April and in search for a new pole community to join. I’m moving to the Battle Creek area and I’ve searched and searched online but I’m not having much luck finding a nearby pole studio ( I was hoping there would be something available in Kalamazoo). I’m looking for either a local studio or a group of local polers to share tricks and tips with.

I want to say Lyme Lite on here is near there. You may want to contact her and see if she knows of anything.

Hi MsMag, I am from the Grand Rapids area. There is a great studio called Flirt Fitness here, but that is probably an hour and a half from you. I know there was a studio in Kalamazoo, a sister studio of a studio in New York, but they closed. Unfortunately Michigan is very limited with studios. There are a few in Detroit but that is a much farther drive. If you ever want to drive to Grand Haven, I have a 12 ft x u can play on!

It’s a bummer about the lack of pole studios in the area, but one new pole friend is better than none! Once I get all moved and settled, don’t be surprised if I shoot you a message on here as I’m always looking for new people to pole with. I might have to come visit the studio and maybe set up a visitation schedule since 1hr15m drive every week might be a bit much for me 🙂

Thanks MaeC I’ll be sure to keep an eye on that in hopes she’ll reopen!

Lol MaeC….I’m a rookie too! Lost all my skills when my Lyme returned a few years back. Feeling good again, just need to fund my pole mojo! 😉
