Hello Everyone! I wanted to know how are you recording your videos? Are you using your laptops/pc’s etc or your camera? And also what video editing software are you using. My daughter recorded me last night attempting to Air walk on my android, i was unable to send it to anyone because the file was too large. I tried emailing it to myself and never came thru. I havent done this type of thing in a long time so any suggestions would be appreciated. I am wanting to record and document my progress.

    Hey there!
Personally, I use a cheapish webcam, and record, edit, and export using Windows Movie Maker. It’s pretty basic, but it does a good job, and is relatively easy to figure out (especially with the help of Google!).
Using a phone, I have an iPhone, so I don’t think the files are saved or recorded in very large or complex types, which allows me to e-mail them to myself. It’s unfortunate to hear that Android is a bit more complicated… at least for the technological newbies like us 😉
I do have a more expensive video camera to use, but I haven’t felt that I need it at this time. Due to the frustrating lack of size of my recording space (my bedroom), I just figured it would be easiest to work with the basic webcam, instead of a proper video camera… which I will use when I have a bit more space, and maybe want a bit more detail 😉

I have an android phone that I use full-time for all my pictures and vids. For videos I want to share that are longer than a minute, I put them on YouTube and share the link. You can set the YouTube link to ‘unlisted’ so that only people who have the link can see it. Also, I have a tripod and a tripod mount called Jellyfish for my phone. I find Viva Video to be a really good editing app. After lots of practice and experience, I have become good with it. Hope these tips help!
