    I havent been on the pole in over a week, i just have no energy. Before that i was on it like every day. Do you go thru this? I am feeling guilty because i go home from working all day and be like nahh, tomorrow. Next day comes, same thing. Is it a “Pole Funk” or sometype of “Pole Depression”? Is there pills for this? Lol. How do you get your Pole Mojo back? Ive been watching videos. I think my problem is I watch videos then i go home and attempt certain things and i know im not going to be able to nail them right away but maybe im getting frustrated, like the aerial invert. I can invert from the ground but I want to do aerial. Help..lol

    Are you getting your period? I get like that around that time of the month. I dont feel like doing anything, much less exercise.

    Yes, that was the culprit. Lol. Someone else advised me of that in a group i am in on facebook. About how weak you get, how your skin is so sensitive. I tried to sit today and it was awful. I have been almost in tears the last couple of days. Its like i cant seem to learn or catch on to anything new. I was about to just take my pole down and give up! I havent been to the studio in about a month and half due to sinus infection turned to flu over a two week period, finances, working, family things…uhh, its one thing after the other one. Someone else advised me to, for right now, stop watching videos of people with advanced skills, this can also be discouraging. I dont know. Its like I cant seem to do much of anything. One month it seemed i was progressing now it seems im digressing and its depressing! Lol

    when I am going through a bad time with poling and I’m not motivated or inspired, I make myself do veena’s strengthening routine. seriously , it is only 15 minutes. I dont have to think of what I’m going to do. it makes me stronger for when I get my motivation back. I tell myself I can do just 15 minutes and I always feel so much better about myself. usually after the 15 minutes are up i will either be done or I will sometime want to keep going and end up poling for another 45 minutes just trying out tricks. but yes, sometimes you just need rest.

    @emajyne Glad you discovered the culprit! I feel like this every month, for ten days at least, and each and every time I think, “I must be regressing,” when nope, just getting my period.
