    Hi Guys,

I’m planning on going to pole expo this year and am having a hard time narrowing down which workshops to take or if i should put my money towards a couple privates. Anyone been in the past? Have any experiences to share, favourite instructors or workshops you took? Thanks!!

It all depends on your goals. I am not a fan of workshops at big events just because they usually pack a lot of people in and they are of all levels. I am not a “needy” person so while I can absorb the information I do not feel like I get a lot of hands on instruction. I mean seriously, there are 22 spots per 1 hour workshop. I also am not a trickster so if I were going to take any classes it would be flow/floorwork/sexy type stuff. But that is *me*. I can also say you should not try to take a TON of workshops. I know people who have injured themselves pushing too hard and ended up either out of money or having to just watch the workshop.

Hi all. I will be teaching a workshop at Pole Expo targeting injury prevention! Pilate Express for Pole, 11 Sept 430pm
I would not recommend a private lesson unless you are very advanced/elite looking for a very specific trick skill build. The pros that teach the work shops are great and cost less money. They are very specific ie: cup grips/handstands etc. Wait until the free workshop list comes out. Choose those first, then if you still need something else look at the ones for sale.
