Problematic hands/grip while upside down.
I keep running into a small problem while upside down on the pole. My hands just seem to want to be in the way. I can invert strongly and get my knees above my hands and all that jazz but it just seems that if I need toP re-grip (example, letting go in gemini and grabbing the pole again, or going for an inverted crucifix and learning my pole is out to kill me so I change my mind) I can really struggle to be able to get my hands back securely around the pole. I admit I do have large leg muscles/quads, in proportion to the rest of my frame. It’s like they’re getting in the way. I thought perhaps it was this but I tried to grab the pole near to my belly button recently and had the same issue so this has made me question if I’m doing something wrong. It’s like my body is hugging the pole a bit too desperately! lol Any ideas?
