I’m thinking about getting a pole at home and was wondering if anybody else has a Pussycat Pole? I’m from Australia and they seem to be the leading brand here. If you do have one, what do you think of it? Did you get stainless steel or brass? Do they warm up nicely or stay cold?

    Thanks,
    Dizzy Kitty

    Hey Dizzykitty!
The Pussycat Pole has been talked about here on the forum before, but it was several years ago.

It looks like they had good reviews from the Veeners that had them and tried them. I’m hoping that they have the same craftsmanship that they did then, and that it works out for you!

I have heard really good things about them. Also, I saw some poles on sale on gumtree a few weeks ago- two pussycat brass poles classic style IIRC that were permanent? They might still be listed
    There’s this one too

I always check out gumtree as ong as it’s genuine 🙂

    Here’s the isting
I have 1 x 38mm brass spinning semi permanent pole for pole dancing..

It was made by Pussy Cat poles in Qld and is in excellent condition having been used only once for a Miss Pole SA competition, can be made stationary or left spinning (can be locked off to stationary).

It is approx 3.7 metres long, can be cut down to fit your ceiling height….

    Great value.

Hope that’s of some help 🙂

@skramamme- Thank you so much 🙂 I’ll definitely check on gumtree from now on! I wish I could get one now but we’re moving into a rental property soon :/ Guess I’ll have to wait just a couple more weeks 🙂

Pussycat poles only used to offer permanent options, so I never considered purchasing one from them, and x-pole were much better suited to my needs.
However, one of the studios at the studio I go to use Pussycat Poles and they’re great! They spin really fast though… (can also be locked out, they just spin faster than other poles I’ve used)

@michaelaarghh- I was so happy when I found out that have the option of fully removable now 🙂 Oh, that’s good to know about spinning. The ones we use at out studio spin fast too but I’m still trying to get use to it XD

@Baudelaire- I’m so glad to hear that pussycat poles are the way to go 🙂
Arrg, that would’ve been awesome except because i’m in a rental property I’ll have to get a fully removable one. Do you like the brass poles compared to stainless steel?

Ive always danced on brass. Only tried chrome a handful of times with mixed success and havent used stainless steel or titanium. I tend not to gwt too sweaty though, so havent had grip issues with brass – some girla i dance with have all sorts of concoctions of grip aids So it seems to depend on skin type too.
