I got it a few weeks ago, the first week or so it was fine. it just started making noise recently. the noise is a loud and kind of deep “popping” sound. it makes the noise with and without weight on pole. It’s coming from the pole not the ceiling, and is very different from the ceiling creaking noise that happens sometimes if pole is too tight.

My pole is very straight, I set it up according to instructions. It only makes the noise in spinny mode, static seems to be fine. at first it was only when i spin in one direction but now after taking the pole apart and putting back together it happens on both directions and really loud. like i live in a basement and im afraid it is bothering my upstairs neighbours.

I have a competition to practice for if anyone can help me asap please and thank you!!

KayCee we would strongly recommend getting in touch with your local X-POLE office to find a solution to this problem. It could be due to over-tightening, however, without talking through the problem, we are unable to assist – where are you based?

Hi, I am in Quebec, but I’ve been speaking on the phone with xpole (I think in LA) I’ve called them every day the past 3 days but have only been able to speak to the receptionists. I can never get in touch with technician. The receptionist suggested I send a video of the pole and the noise to have the technician look over. I sent that 3 days ago and keep following up so I’m really hoping tomorrow I’ll be able to catch them at a time when the technicians are in. I think their main hours of work are when I’m at work too so it’s tough to contact them on phone.

    Hi Kayla,

Our technician was trying to reach you a couple of times. Please do give us a call and we can put you through to him. The first step is always to send video so that we can see/hear the issue very clearly and we can go from there. Our technician will try to call you again today- please feel free to call us when you are in front of the pole as well.
In quebec you are 3 hours agead of us which is great- we are open 9-5 Mon-fri PST. We’ll get to the bottom of this! Thank you so much!

Yes thank you, was tough to get in contact with my work hours but I did send the video and speak to the tech after a bit of phone tag. I told him everything is ok now.

In case anyone is having similar issues, the problem for me was that I over tightened, and even after taking it down the first time to try setting it up less tight, in my paranoia I must have actually tightened it more. So I tried a second time (actually loosening it) and it worked. I just made sure to test it out really good before going upsidedown or anything crazy. It’s been a few days now and my pole is very secure and silent!

Thank you x-pole for getting back to me both here and by phone, good to know you’re here whenever I have questions 🙂
