Hi everyone! Are there any tall girls dancing in 7″ heels? I love their appearance but I’m not sure if they’re comfortable.. I am tall and I have large feet!

I do not know what you consider tall. I’m 5’9″ and have begun wearing heels. I have a size ten foot and very narrow feet. I have found that a size 8 or 9 in the chrome pleasers work best for my feet. They are 7 inch heels.

Am I super comfortable in them yet? Um…no, lol. But I am more comfortable in them than the first day I put them on? Yes, very much so yes. It’s like most things with pole, at first it’s like…uh really, you want me to what? and then it becomes, I got this, haha. Veena has foot conditioning exercises that help get the foot ready for heels and strengthen them and for being on the ball of the foot if shoeless. It’s bit scary looking down, but you will never get better at anything unless you try and practice. 😀

I’m 5’11” and have 7 1\2 pleasers….. I love them! I’m only an intermediate level at best, but they are very comfortable. I haven’t tried to invert in them yet….for some reason that’s a little scary for me right now. I’m glad I got them, so I say be happy you’re tall, celebrate and have fun being even taller!

I”m 5’10”, and I love my 7″ heels! I find that heels make pole a lot easier in many ways. The only thing that is tricky, is walking to the pole, if you aren’t used to them. The rest of the time, you’re on the floor, or holding on the the pole. I have pleasers, mostly, but that’s because they are really the only game in town right now. I have long, thin feet and they tend to gargoyle out in front of the shoes which are tight enough to hold my thin feet in. Alternately, and I haven’t tried this yet, a larger size with insoles could fix that issue. Best of luck!

I pole dance barefoot but I have worn “stripper heels” a lot in the past for dancing. They are not comfortable until you get used to them, and then I think they are more comfortable to dance in than being barefoot, because they actually protect your poor toes from getting banged up while you are dancing, especially for the floor work, which I find difficult barefoot. I am 5’10” and I find that 7″ are way more comfortable to dance in than 6″ for some reason. Hope this helps!

I’m 5’10” and used to dance in tens. I think they look stupid now. On me, I mean. Shoes with more of an arch seem to compliment my leg shape now. I’m a size 9 in shoes for reference

I am almost 6’2″ tall, and I got myself some 6″ pleasers and I have tried dancing in the 7″ ones as well. My problem with the pleasers isn’t the height of the platform/heel but the stability. I normally wear size 10 but for pleasers i should wear size 9 or even 8 because I have very narrow feet with high arches. In my opinion the transparent plastic straps adhere better to the foot and offer more stability.

Would anyone say the find 7/7.5 inch easier than 6? Sometimes it looks as though the foot is flatter in the 7 inch than the 6? Is that correct?

I don’t know what you consider tall but I’m 5’7″ and my best frind is 5’9″ & we both wear 6″ heels or higher and we both love them. Especially since they elongate her legs even more than they already are. Don’t be shy/worry you will look even more fabulous than you already do!!

5’8″ and I wear 7 inch. Nothing lower. I’m very comfortable on the floor, climbing and inverting in them.
