Hello Venners… I’m coming here after a while to get some tips from you.

A while ago I sing up for Veena and I ended up not to taking advantage from the lessons.

I take pole classes only once a week because of my odd working hours, but have until enough free time to train at home. I have a bar and a mattress for security and I have room. But I have no heart to train by myself.

And I’m needing to strengthen some muscles (especially abdominal, because I still can’t invert due to lack of strength in those muscles).

Do you have any tips for cheering up to train alone?

    Thanks!!

Veena teaches and encourages so many other things to learn, even before inverting. I teach a beginner fundamentals class and teach this way also. This way strength is being developed for inverting, etc.

As for motivation to train/practice alone, I understand. I struggle with same thing. All I can say is have a plan of what you will work on. Even if it’s exercises to prep and gain strength. It doesn’t have to be a lot of things or for long time. I find that if I plan a few things, once I’ve started and warm up, I work out and practice longer.

    Good luck and happy poling.
