Pre 2010 pole extensions
So i bought a spin/static 50mm chrome x pole used. It works great but i need a 500mm extension to put it in a better place in my house. I cant find the pre 2010 extensions anywhere. What should I do?

Have you called X-Pole? They have some extensions in stock but I do believe they have discontinued their manufacture.

If you can’t get one from xpole you could always try a local machine shop or maybe even a trade school. I would take in any extension that you do have and ask them for an estimate for one of whatever length you need. It’s worth a try if you can’t get an original.

I wouldn’t recommend an aftermarket machined part:
1) Differences in metal composition could mean different expansion rates which could mean its either nearly impossible to get apart or doesn’t want to stay together.
2) The original X-Pole is chromed, to get a matching finish along with the machining of the part you would have been far better off purchasing a brand new X-Pole with the extension you needed and then have support far into the future.
