  Hello Everyone!

  Question! I recently acquired pretty bad carpet burn (while doing a pole routine)on the tops of my feet which left discolored (pink) flat scars. Has anyone else experienced this and if so did they eventually clear up mostly to not be noticeable?? My skin is brown if that helps at all with the image…. I’ve been rubbing/massaging them with various oils…

  Hello and ouch! I’ve been there before and it hurts! Give it time to heal and breath, so don’t cover it with anything that could stick to the area. I don’t know that putting oil on is optimal but aloe can be soothing.

  Thanks Veena! They have healed.. The burns just left these flat pink scars behind.. I’m figuring with time they Should fade (praying that to be so since I HAD pretty feet) but wondered if other folks with carpet burn had marks that eventually faded. (And what they did to help the process) I want my pretty feet back!!!! I will try the aloe. 🙂

  I have a scar from a carpet burn as a kid, but it was pretty bad. I’m guessing you’ll be fine. Give it time. 🙂

  I had it on my forehead from falling out of a Russian Split. I use Maderma scar care every night. You can find it at most Pharmacies.
