Posture Question (lower back soreness)
I know I’m not the only one like this, so I’m curious what other people have done for this. I hold my upper back and shoulders pretty well most of the time I’m standing, but I have extra curvature in my lower back, and have had it all my life. Just in the last few years though, if I stand too long my lower back will be sooooo soooore. 🙁
This soreness can be staved off for a while if I do my best to tilt my hips and tuck my butt a little, making what I bet is a healthier curve in my spine. Whether it’s just muscle control or something else, this position is hard for me to hold if I’m doing anything other than standing still. When I walk my dog, I’ll stop frequently to stand still, reset my lower back, and continue again until I’m pretty sure I’m not holding that posture anymore.
What kind of exercises are there for this?
