  • Is it possible to make a pole less spinny?

More on spinning topics… My home pole is super spinny, much more than the my studio poles. It goes like crazy with the minimum push. Can this be tweaked anyway, or basically, it is what it is and I need to learn how to deal with it? Thanks!

Do Pull-Ups on the Spinny Pole while you’re spinning. Push and take off so that you’re spinning really slow. When you Pull-Up, pull-up into a pencil spin position.

When you release, keep your legs extended and spread your feet a little wider than your hips-width distance. Do that 5-times on both sides. It’ll help condition you for spinny pole.

As you get stronger and more in control, you can add reps and/or spin faster.

Yeah some poles spin like nuts other barely move. You can tighten it a tiny bit more but DON’T go crazy, just an extra turn or two can help. However, a nice spinny pole is good! Use the tips Isis mentioned and these too https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4f7311e1-1410-4981-8097-7a4a0ac37250 I’m guessing you’ve seen it but thought I’d repost.
