Hello! Welcome to the forums!
By the title you have there, I’m guessing you’re going to be training at home, if not entirely, then primarily and perhaps supplementing with some studio time.
Working out at home can be a bit tough- you need to learn not to listen to your “motivation,” but instead get your stubbornness out, and get on the pole even when you don’t really feel like it, if you promised yourself you would! It can be tough, but super rewarding!
Quite a few of the ladies here dance exclusively at home- myself included, until recently!
We love to post videos and blogs here, so that we can let everyone know about our progress, and enjoy the sense of community here that we may be missing from previous studio life.
Veena’s 30 day takeoff program is AWESOME, and it gets you more used to creating a good workout routine and habit. You can take it as many times as you want!
Her pole lessons are also placed in order of difficulty, so try not to jump ahead too far. We’re all very much about safety here! If anything hurts, maybe back off that move for a bit. Try to make sure you’ve got a quality pole (we recommend either X-pole or Lil Mynx), even though they can be expensive, they will keep you safe from falling! I’ve heard far too many stories of poles falling, breaking, or generally being awful when they are cheap.

As Runemist mentioned the 30 take off program is a great start. Also keep in mind that every lesson section has videos place in a plan and specific order so always start at the beginning for faster progress. 🙂

Hi ladies! Thank you both so much for your replies. Yes, the gist of my original post was just that I’m starting home training after about 2 years of studio training on and off. While I still have some strength and can still do most of the basic stuff, I’m pretty much considering this starting from scratch for me. I never built up the strength or flexibility to do a lot of things properly, such as inverting. So I really want to do it right this time so I can achieve all my goals and be safe, strong and flexy! I started the 30 day take off and the 30 days to flexy together yesterday. Does that sound like a good plan for someone with my goals?
