Figuring out what my pole is made of? Help!
Hi everyone!
I bought an x-pert x-pole second hand and eventhough the seller listed it as Titanium Gold I think it may be brass.
A) my hands habe that metal smell
B) it looks like it needs a polish
C) when I wiped it off with rubbing alcohol there residue had a brassy green tinge
D) the product code on the cardboard shipping tubes is XXO45BR wouldnt it be TG if this pole were Titanium gold?When I asked her later she said when she purchased it she was deciding between chrome and ‘brass gold” and said she bought the one with very good grip.
Any of this telling of the material ? Lol!

Yeah, sounds like brass to me! My TG never has any thing other than grip aid residue come off, but my brass gets dirty!

Veena what did grip aid residue look like? The pick of the pole is after being cleaned (but not polished )

Also do your hands smell like metal after using your TG?

I use brasso and then finish with steaming, otherwise the brasso seems to make it slick. Steaming gets read of the slick from cleaning. I steam more than using brasso as I only use that once or twice a year.

That DEF looks like brass. Brass is way more expensive so you probably got a good deal, go you!
