I have sweaty hands even when I am not trying to pole dance. I have really tried to be patient but when I am doing inverted tricks I would really like to know my hands weren’t going to slip like they do now!!
I have tried rubbing alcohol and it helps for a little while but then they get slippery again!
I keep hearing about products like, Dry hands, tac, tite grip…has anyone tried any of these?? Which is the better product.

Dry Hands is fabulous in my opinion, it’s so good that I can’t actually spin when I’ve just applied it on my hands

ok…here is my opinion on these products

mighty grip is a thermo plastic which makes your hands "sticky". Okay for grip but it does rub off on the pole which in turn makes it hard to do anything where you need to slide your hand, foot etc on the pole. Not good for spins. It will tear your hands up. This is my least favorite product!

dry hands and tite grip are pretty much the same thing. I personally have tite grip and I highly recommend it for sweaty hands. My fav out of all grip aids!

rosin/tac do well at drying your hands but to me it feels like i have baby powder on my hands so they are slick.

Some at home things you can try are sugar water, hairspray and gillete shave gel(only a tiny bit..too much and you’ll be slippery)

I try to only stick with rubbing alcohol for cleaning my pole (x-pole) and hands.

My own recommendation is to only use grip aids when it is absolutely necessary when doing advanced tricks. Your hands will almost always sweet more when just beginning or when learning new tricks…this is due to excitement, not knowing exactly what you are doing and strength in your grip. As you become more familiar with your pole, trick and gain more strength, your hands shouldn’t sweat as much!

Everyone is different with grip aids. I used them a lot when I was just beginning but now I hardly ever use them. Just remember, we all sweat and we all need to constantly wipe the pole down. the only pole I’ve ever been on where I didn’t have to wipe alot was a brass pole…but I still had to wipe it down occasionally along with my hands. Good luck and if you decide to go with a grip aid/deoderant use it sparingly!

    Sorry for the long post!
