I have ventured upside down!
So for awhile I’ve played a little with the basic inversion, waiting until I had more control (you know, not flinging myself around) before trying anything else out – but yesterday I finally pushed myself to actually do upside down tricks and successfully (albeit a little shakily) pulled off the chopper, gemini, and scorpio! Yes, I had to hitch myself up the pole (alas, my poor little pole) and there was much adjusting involved, but I got there in the end! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif So if you’d like to observe/applaud/giggle a little, there is a video of me and my highly experimental inversions up now! Thanks everyone, it is really exciting! I still need to do a lot of work getting my movements under control, working on my ab and arm strength, etc., but the progress of just getting the moves at all is so encouraging! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif And tomorrow my X-Pole should be arriving! YAY! So hopefully the pole height won’t be a problem much longer!
