I managed it. Got it by doing what shall be known as the handstand and rearranging my legs. private question though, when I lean out to put my out on either side I seem to really nipp that little bit of skin on the pubic bone. Is this normal (and another thing requiring getting used to) or is there a way of doing it so it doesn’t feel like someones trying to pin your ladee garden to your skeleton?

I also have a really rather lovely set of bruises on the tops of my thighs now.

Good job! I remember this being a scary move for me at first. As far as your lady business ive never had this happen to me but i learned it from a basic invert so that might be why. I think some other gals around here get into this move this way so maybe they can help. I have however gotten pole burn on my lady business during a wrist seat when i was sliding down……….owwwwwwwwwwww!

If your lady business is getting pinched then maybe the pole is too far up between your thighs. The pole should rest flat against um, "you"… That’s my guess, anyway, without seeing.

Using a handstand or headstand to try to get a feel for where your legs are going is a good idea. Also you could try doing just a regular invert and sliding so your back is touching the ground, but staying with your legs up on the pole. From there you can get used to where your legs are supposed to be because you’re semi-hanging.

But congrats on getting the move, even if it hurt! It’s still progress! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Me thinks the pole may be an inch or too far up my legs. Me also thinks that you perhaps dont have to lean out as far as I do. Will try that
