It seems like a nice pole, but I only have 3 complaints.
    1. The fact that it requires the ceiling plate to be installed (which doesn’t coincide with rental property lease agreements)
    2. No specification as to whether or not it’s both a spinning and a static pole.
    3. It doesn’t suggest the diameter of the pole (50mm, 45mm)
If those don’t matter to you, then I think it’s a pretty good deal. The fitness DVDs are a definite plus and the option to do monthly payments is a real mind boggler. No one else does that. My interest is peaked. I’ve heard of the program before, but I never really looked into it deeply.

    Question:
How do you guys feel about the material the pole is made out of (Quality Polished Aluminum)? Is this going to turn the pole into another Peekaboo type of disaster?

If you don’t want to spend as much on an X-pole, I would suggest checking out lil’ mynx. The poles arent as expensive. I have a lil’ mynx and I love it, but I would definitely buy the rotator pole.

a spinning pole means that the pole will rotate 360 degrees repeatedly
a static pole means the pole will stay still

    Hi Toccara,
I bought the Flirty Girl pole as my first pole and I wasn’t happy with it. It tore up my cieling and it’s not very sturdy. It was spinning with me when I spun! LOL

I only used it twice and now it’s sitting in my closet. I didn’t like the dvd’s much either. I felt like I got better instruction from Veenas lessons and youtube (and classes).

I wouldn’t say this pole is as bad as the Carmen/Peek a Boo poles (from my experience, and I have that one too) but if you’re gonna spend the money you might as well get a good one that will last and that you know people love. I have never heard anything bad about the x-pole and I loooooooooove mine. It doesn’t come with dvd’s but you can always get those seperate or just use the good ole World Wide Web LOL. Hell, I can send you my flirty girl dvd’s if you want em…LOL. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

I TOTALLY AGREE with SissyBuns! I have the Flirty Girl pole, i got it because you could pay in installments, but you would be better just saving your money and buying the x-pole. The Flirty Girl pole isn’t a horrible pole, it hasn’t fallen or any of the terrible things i hear about the peek-a-boo poles. i have learned everything on it, but the studio i was taking classes in had lil’ mynx poles and they were a thousand times better. It tore up my ceiling as well (and i rent, woops!!) and it loosens up very quickly so you constantly have to stop to tighten it. The finish is kinda crappy and can get pretty slippery, the dvds are a waste of time, you’ll learn so much more from Veena and other great dancers on YouTube. I’d say splurge on the X-Pole and pay the $99 bucks for the year of Veena’s lessons and you will be more than happy you did! Now i have wasted $260 bucks on the Flirty Girl pole and i want the X-pole which is gunna be another $300 some odd bucks, so in the end i screwed myself…I guess this has taught me that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!! Good Luck and i hope this was helpful!!

Ok cool thanks so much ladies! I think I WILL just go ahead and spend the money on what Im confident is a good purchase, the X-pole. Id hate to have things go wrong and have to go out and buy more over and over ya know?! thanks1 https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

Good decision! I haven’t heard good things about that pole. I started off with a Carmen Electra pole and was mad because I spent $150 on a piece of crap. I wished I had just gone for the x-pole in the first place and saved a few bucks, but at least I didn’t spend all that money to find out poling wasn’t for me…. I just spent all that money to find out I should’ve just gone for it in the first place! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Pretty much the only poles recommended by anyone here, including Veena, are Platinum Stages, Lil Mynx, and X-Pole. X-Pole is the favorite here and it’s what Veena sells. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
