    https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Chrome is great!

I just swapped my stainless out for my X-pole a few months ago and was so happy I didn’t have the warm the pole up time I usually have with stainless on the bad side I just run up and do tricks so I am not warming me up. My poor x-pole I was so prejudiced against it.

Where are you taking lessons? Are you using x-pole in your classes? What kind of pole do you have now?

If it’s an LM stainless (I loathe them) they seem to be much slippier than the Platinum Stages.

Congrats on all of those moves!!!!! That is a lot of progress in 3 visits! NOW YOU HAVE TO COME OUT FOR POLE JAMS https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I just started my first pole class and discovered I’m not as bad as I thought, I just have the wrong pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif
The difference between my stainless and the studio’s chrome and brass is amazing! I can suddenly hold the scorpio, gemini and caterpillar easily, where I can barely get them at home. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
My body is completely sore because I’ve been to the studio 3 times this week and spent much of the time inverting. I’ve got crazy big pole burn bruises from spinning on the brass; I’m so used to a slipperry pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_blackeye.gif
I’m just so freaking giddy! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif

Oh chrome, how do I love thee?
You are not too slippery and not too sticky.
You help me to hang upside down.
You allow me to spin round and round.
My strength reflects on your shiny silver surface.
Too bad you can’t take away my clumsy!

Ok, I’m no poet, but I think I’m gonna be a hella good poler!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_king.gif

Your poem was very inspiring LOL.
In the classes I take they use brass and when I got my chrome xpole and couldn’t do jack on it I was quite depressed LOL. I haven’t had a class since but I’m excited to see if I will be abe to pull off more impressive stuff because I have gotten used to chrome and brass tends to be "grabier".

I don’t think they sell brass. I like it because it’s easier for me to use, but I’d rather use the chrome and get good on that then get used to brass and suck on chrome.

I’m taking lessons at Wonder Women Pole Studio; it just opened up last week in Lake Orion. Their poles are about 12 foot permanent mounts, 4 brass and 2 chrome, not sure what brand. I have the PS stage mount and have been dying to get rid of it bc the stage is a pain. I need to get a permanent mount because I have cathedral ceilings. Any recommendations? I’m still not ready for your pole jams; you guys are crazy good! I would knock everyone else off the pole during doubles and triples! And the hubby is feeling like a pole widow right now! Soon! Maybe Elona would let us play around in the studio, she’s not quite booked up yet.
